How Does It Work?

The Companion Service Department is dedicated to providing companionship and support to individuals with IDD, fostering social connections, and enhancing their overall well-being. The purpose is to promote independence, reduce social isolation, and contribute to a positive and inclusive living environment. We will organize and facilitate recreational activities, provide one-on-one companionship and assist with social skill development.

Companionship can drastically improve individual happiness, promoting them to make smart and healthy decisions while also increasing their level of independence. By accompanying them, we can ensure that they know they aren't alone.
